Karen, Nadine, and Katie –

All ideas sound great. I was kinda hoping there was some kind of “rally” in the city to take the kids to, but no.

They go to bed at 8pm, anyway. I’m looking around the house for some candles. I want to burn them anyway to make room for some new candles that don’t offgas diesel like a normal petrol candle.

engaging and entertaining, everything , and i mean everything seems to be turning green.
not a single reference on our small town message boards or weekly newspaper about lights out.
We are surrounded by –genuine Amish–so i guess point moot.
As for ourselves, we are religious low usage devotees, the neighbors swear we never turn our lights on. We do, we do; we simply use low wattage on crucial task oriented areas, sink,stove, reading lamp, computer desk, chicken incubator.
so it’s lights off for mystery night, have fun!

The visual of the straw hat, overalls and wife calling you jebodiah just cracks me up!!

plan a was dinner with girlfriends, via candlelight,laughter included – however that was cancelled

plan b was a train ride to the city to the hancock to watch the sun set, and watch the city go dark, my budget said think again mother earth

plan c was to light the birth candles of baby jack, here at home – born 2 days ago and ponder future generations
